In Melbourne's Famous Ally-Ways
...we love Melbourne's coffee...
OUR HEARTS AND STOMACHS ARE CONTENT
Today we had a delicious lunch in Melbourne, we tried to blend in with the locals as we wondered down a hidden ally-way.
As an American girl born and raised in Miami, Florida I was taken aback when the Aussie's informed me that walking through a random ally-way was actually a GOOD idea. Crime in Australia is rare, and ally-ways are the BEST spots to find hidden cafes and coffee shops.
So, that's exactly what we did ... we wondered around in hopes of finding a delicious lunch and a much needed coffee!
As the pictures show, our quest for lunch was a success. We found an adorable soup shop, containing a wide variety of homemade soups!!!
I have mentioned in previous posts that Melbourne is the art, fashion and coffee capital of Australia. That is why these ally-ways are covered in art. Street art is widely accepted and common to see through out Melbourne. So, take a look at the pictures again and you will get a glimpse of Melbourne's vibrant street art.
After a more than satisfying lunch we couldn't help but have Melbourne's delicious cappuccinos.
