Welcome To Melbourne Australia
G’day Mates! Lets just say that today was quite an exciting day as we were anxious for a special arrival in the Land Down Under.
After twenty-six hours of flying THEY MADE IT!
We are so excited to spend these next few weeks together, as we will be able to explore Australia together! Melbourne will be an amazing way to start off our holiday together, as we get to show them our city! Melbourne is a very vibrant city with hundreds of cafes, coffee shops, hidden ally-ways, pubs, and festivities!
To start off the day we went to South Bank (a strip along the Yarra River) to enjoy a delicious meal, catch up, and toast our first “Cheers Mate” over a nice cold Pure Blonde Beer (their first time having it)!
After a delicious meal, full off an absolutely delicious lamb dish, we decided to take them to Anthony’s favorite spot in Melbourne… the Melbourne Aquarium! Here, we were able to share with them some of our favorite encounters with the penguins, the incredible salt life, and the shark tank where we dived for Anthony’s birthday!
Everyone’s favorite parts were watching the adorable penguins waddle, holding a shark egg, and standing under the shark tunnel!
We then enjoyed a relaxing and beautiful end to our first day at the Westin hotel where we were able to sit back, talk, give them a taste of Melbourne’s famous coffee, and enjoy the beautiful weather!!!
Tomorrow’s adventures are even more exciting… road tripping the great ocean road!!!

P.S. Wifi hasn’t been readily available and we have been so busy that I am trying to update the blog as soon as possible!
I am very happy to see these photos of all the family having a great time while exploring what the lively city of Melbourne has to offer. Glad to be able to have a glimpse of the university in one of the photos.

All these pictures in the Aquarium are fantastic. Very funny to have the penguins with the Snow Easter Bunny!
