CASALE DELLO SPARVIERO: TUSCANY, ITALY

Casale Dello Sparviero
Chianti, Siena

Tuscany, Italy

Casale Dello Sparviero was previously an old monastery of XVII century where the sparrow hawks made their nest. Hence the reason why the sparrow hawk today the vineyards trademark. The winery is 380 hectars (big as 71 pyramids of Giza!) and 90 hectares are vineyards (250 metres high, that means the ideal highness for the production of Chianti Classico wine).

The landscape is absolutely amazing: the forest, the lakes, the self vegetation represent the ideal situation for the life of the vineyard. The location of the vineyard is ideal for the life cycle of the grape, appraising the perfect match between natural and animal world. One of the greatest elements is their “terroir”, the mix of elements that make the difference in the wine.

This spot was simply one to remember!  The ambiance was incredible, and the weather was perfect.  We drank, ate, relaxed and chatted the afternoon away.  Oh, how I love tasting away wines in Italia with the love of my life!

Off to our next adventure!

Lots of Love,

Nicole & Anthony
