A DESTINATION FOR THE BOOKS: BYE FIJI!

BULA FROM FIJI

We are writing to you today to tell you of all the wonderful memories FIJI made for the two of us.

If you asked us four years ago if we thought we would end up in FIJI I think we would have probably laughed uncontrollably, in your face.  It is hard enough for us to process the fact that we are IN FIJI, at this very moment!

Life is full of wonderful and unexpected surprises.  FIJI has been one of the most remarkable experiences we have had while on this journey.

We were welcomed by the Fijian community with open and loving arms.  We got to know all the islanders on a personal level, were able to listen to their life stories and were taught how to do their traditional dances.  We were humbled with their presence and touched by their love.  From the moment we arrived on the island we were told, "welcome to FIJI time!"  We didn't know what "FIJI time" was until we were able to experience it first hand.  By the end of our week long vacation we WERE ON FIJI TIME.  The Fijians taught us how to love every minute of life... from the sunrise to the sunset, from the ocean waves to the sea shells on the shoreline, from the eating to the dancing, from the laughter to the peaceful sound of the waves.

We enjoyed every minute of this beautiful island as we laughed until our stomachs hurt, danced the nights away and swam through the crystal waters.

We learned how to FLY as we jumped out of a plane and went Sky Diving (that is definetely one story for the books!)

We learned how to sail our own sail boat for the day; we tried FIJI's famous Kava; we relaxed in the pool bar; we sat with our toes in the sand; we relaxed in the beach gazebos; we drank pina coladas until our hearts content; we went kayaking to the reefs; we had our own island for the day; we went to the famous Castaway Island; we swung on the swings; we went on beautiful boat rides; we "chill-axed" on the hammocks; we drank from coconuts; we learned how to dance like the Fijians; we tasted the beer of FIJI; we sang to the music; we looked up at the stars; we danced while no one was watching; we found Nemo; we saw blue starfish for the first time ...

{ WE FOUND OUR PARADISE }

THANK YOU FIJI FOR A TRIP OF A LIFE TIME ...

Forty years from now we still won't understand how we ended up all the way in FIJI!

BE IN LOVE WITH YOUR LIFE, EVERY DETAIL OF IT

With Lots of Love,

Nicole  Anthony
