AN AFTERNOON IN THE FIJI MARKETS

"On the mainland, going into town!"
"Shopping at the markets!"
"TRYING THE KAVA WITH THE FIJIANS"

FIJI KAVA,

A MUST TRY!

Kava is a crop of the western Pacific.  The roots of the plant are used to produce a drink. While Kava is a main drink in FIJIAN culture, it is also consumed through out the Pacific Ocean cultures including Hawaii, Vanuatu, Melanesia and some parts of Micronesia.

After trying the famous Kava, we shopped at the markets!  We got amazing paintings, masks and symbolic decorations, all authentic!

Bula,

Nicole & Anthony
