Wine Tasting Yarra Valley

YARRA VALLEY, AUSTRALIA

G'day Mates!  Today was another breathtaking day in the Land Down Under, since we spent it in some of Australia's most famous wineries (after the Healesville Sanctuary - the blog under this one... scroll down to see)!

We were all able to "indulge in life's great pleasures of food, wine, spectacular scenery and inspiring arts" of Yarra Valley.

Yarra Valley is home of the Victorian wine.  We were able to "place ourselves in the spot where Victorian wine growing started and pay homage to the grape at the cellar doors of winemaking institutions.  We were able to travel through the rolling hills strung with vines, secluded natural valleys set against blue mountain backdrops and lush greenery and pastures, past towering trees and pristine rivers."

Although the pictures are beautiful, they don't give the Valley the justice it deserves... it was absolutely incredible and we are so excited to have experienced this together!

My dad bought us our favorite wine at the River Stone Estate Wines, the Cabernet Sauvignon!  I still have the delicious lingering taste of that deep crimson colored wine's blackberry, currant, oak, and pepper flavors!

Although, the delicious wines seemed to steal the spotlight the happiness of everyone was the true show to watch!  From Christopher's run through the vines to Michelle's modeling on the hills, from my dad's jokes to my mom's laugher, from Anthony's tripod fun to my favorite photo shoot!

LIFE IS GOOD

Stay Tuned... for dinner in Little Italy!

Cheers,

Nicole

  2. G'day. LIFE IS GOOD. With all these beautiful pictures I feel like I was there enjoying with all of you, with the exception that I really couldn't taste the wine or food.
I'm so happy that all of you had such a wonderful time!
