We made it! After a 9 hour drive, we finally arrived in Franz Josef Glacier! The drive was beautiful since we enjoyed beautiful scenery, and lunch in Wanaka.
Lunch was amazing! I tried their famous cappuccino and ate risotto which was seasoned with feta cheese and their local seasonings, grown locally. While Anthony tried a grilled chicken, bacon, and pineapple burger!
Enjoy the pictures! Well, we are off to go explore the town! Stay tuned as tomorrow we take a helicopter around Franz Josef, land inside the glacier to go glacier hiking, and go swimming in the hot pools!
