Greetings from Queenstown, New Zealand!

Sorry for the delay in writing, since we have not had much wifi and have been so busy!  So I am writing to you as if this was day one, January 19th... our four year anniversary!

We started off by checking into the hotel, and enjoying a beautiful view of the Lake Wakatipu.  We then waited for the water taxi that took us across the lake and into town.  Wow, what a beautiful boat ride that was!  After a scenic boat ride, we landed in The Lakefront to enjoy an amazing anniversary dinner over a famous local bottle of red wine.  Anthony of course had to have a steak sandwich "his favorite," while I tried a local fish (Chinook Salmon) caught fresh off the lake.  What a delicious dinner overlooking the beautiful mountains, still fresh with white snow caps.

We then headed down to watch the sunset (9:30PM New Zealand time), which made a beautiful orange glow.  The sunset has to be the most beautiful sunset both Anthony or I have ever seen!  

We then finished the night with a night cap at a famous local ice bar called "Minus Five Degrees."  We were required to wear special coats, gloves, pants, and Anthony's favorite...Uggs.  The ice bar was under five degrees and EVERYTHING was made out of ice...from the cups to the bar stools, from the walls to the decorations!  

What an amazing first day and start to this next year together!
