Federation Square Wine Event- Melbourne, Australia

Federation Square Wine Tasting Event
Melbourne, Australia

"From the winemakers of Yarra Valley, Mornigton Peninsula, and Gippsland"
"Having some fun"

"The atrium of Federation, where the event was held"

"Having fun with Melbourne's art.... since Melbourne is known as Australia's art capital"

The Atrium in Federation Square, Melbourne Australia hosts many events for the community! To our surprise there was a wine tasting event earlier this week, which was a lot of fun as the community gathered to taste the delicious wines of the Victorian Region. I enjoyed some delicious wines from the winemakers of Yarra Valley (where we are currently visiting), Mornington Peninsula, and Gippsland.

In addition we enjoyed the music of a local band, Peter Baylor Trio while tasting a variety of cheeses from participating restaurants… serving absolutely delicious food!

After a successful and fun day of wine tasting in the city center, we enjoyed a beautiful Sunset down by the Water Front. This is always a fun and relaxing way to watch the sunset, as there are many local bands playing music and little local vendors are selling all sorts of goodies. My favorite is the ice cream…. which I might be having a little too much of… but much needed after a days worth of wine tasting!

Over the next two days we will be exploring two famous beaches, Williamstown Beach and St.n Kilda's Beach.

Melbourne is a beautiful city, so fun and full of excitement. Melbourne is always hosting events to bring the community together… I am loving this!

Stay tuned,

Nicole
