Wow, the beaches were great! Williamstown beach was a beautiful quite beach, unlike St. Kild's beach full of activity, pubs, and shops. Williamstown beach was a wonderful spot to kick back, relax, have a delicious picnic, and spend a great day absorbed in our books! I also found beautiful shells, for my collection. My favorite part was seeing the jellyfish washed up on shore, they are surprisingly a beautiful blue! The water was a refreshing swim, and it was even funner jumping off the rocks! Williamstown will definitely be a beach we will be going back to OFTEN!

St. Kilda Beach is known as Melbourne's "most famous beach for its big events and festivals." St, Kilda is also home to many of Melbourne's famous Luna Park, Acalade Street, and Fitzroy Street. This beach was a lot of fun!!! We will be going back soon for, St. Kilda's Festival (where many bands will come preform and many vendors will be selling their homemade goods). St. Kilda was filled with beach volleyball, which we got to watch while on the beach and from the pub! Our new favorite beer is one made locally called "Victoria Bitter," which we tried on St. Kilda's for the first time. What a relaxing and refreshing day! A day on the beach is a day in paradise… and especially in Australia! we are truly enjoying all of Australia's beaches, definitely crossing these off our bucket lists! Who thought we would be relaxing on these beaches? We are so grateful we get to see this part of the world!

Well, we are off in Yarra Valley now… discovering beautiful Australia, wine tasting, and seeing KANGAROOS for the first time in our lives! They love running through the vineyards!

Good day Mate,

Nicole

  2. The pictures of both beaches are beautiful --as you say, Williamstown beach looks quieter, more relaxing--but, since I love the beach I'll be happy in either one!

Of course, my precious granddaughter, "a day in the beach is a day in paradise."

The photo of the jellyfish is UNIQUE. I've never seen one like that.
