Stopping To Say A Prayer
Santorini, Greece
While riding through the island on our scooter, we unexpectedly stumbled upon an adorable blue roofed Church. Santorini is famous for the much photographed blue domed and colorful churches that can be seen in the entire island. Each church bears witness to a unique history and has a feast to celebrate, upon which great festivals take place in the villages. Religion plays a significant role in the life of the locals.
Since Santorini is covered in small churches, the history of the smaller churches aren't as easily accessible(opposed to the larger & more popular churches). We fell in love with this special little church, and stopped to say a prayer.
