ABORIGINAL DANCE TIME

{After The Climb}

"Enjoying Cold Milkshakes! It's So Hot Out!"

{The Aboriginals Dance}

G'day Mates

After the amazing, but hot climb we decided to get some delicious ice cold milkshakes & watch the aboriginals dance!

Since our time living in Australia we have grown fond of listening to the beautiful Aboriginal didgeridoo.

The didgeridoo is the world's oldest musical instrument and is made from limbs and tree trunks creating a wind instrument.

Dance ceremonies, often called corroborees, play an important role in Aboriginal culture.

The dances tell stories about the community, of the land, of relationships and the way of life of the people.  There are different dances for different communities, each telling a different story.

We enjoyed these dances tremendously!

Cheers,

Nicole & Anthony
